Windows Mobile 2003 End-of-Support Notice
If you have users running Sensa secure mobile email on Windows Mobile 2003 handhelds, please be advised of Apriva's software update and technical
support timeline described below.
As the industry moves from Windows Mobile 5.0 to Windows Mobile 6.0, Apriva will end software updates for Windows Mobile 2003 as of our Sensa v1.9.3
releases which will become generally available in September 2007. Our v1.9.2 release is the last release to support Windows Mobile 2003.
All future releases, will not support Windows Mobile 2003. This means that if you have Sensa secure mobile email users on Windows Mobile 2003 handhelds,
those users will need to stay on Sensa v.1.9.2 until they upgrade to a newer handheld running Windows Mobile 5.0 or 6.0. If you have a mixed fleet of
devices (e.g. a mix of users across Windows Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 5.0, and Windows Mobile 6.0), your Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 6.0 users
will be able upgrade to Sensa secure mobile email v1.9.3 and subsequent releases.
Even though we have ended software updates for Windows Mobile 2003, Apriva will continue to offer technical support for Sensa secure mobile email on Windows
Mobile 2003 devices until 12/31/2007.
If you are not familiar with Windows Mobile 5.0, or Windows Mobile 6.0, the new mobile operating system brings a number of improvements over Windows Mobile 2003.
We encourage you to start looking at some of the new Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 6.0 OS handhelds.
