Apriva Guard™ employs PKI authentication and login software to control user access to devices and applications. Apriva Guard reduces risk by enabling mobile device lockdown or disabling of certain functions (like cameras and microphones). It employs Apriva CSPware™ which is a cryptographic service that accesses smart card data using the highest levels of encryption and allows an interface with various mobile phones, smartphones, and third-party applications.
 
When enabled, the Apriva Guard Lock Screen is presented at device start-up and physical Smartcards are available for use as alternatives to soft certificates from the standard Android Keystore. When enabled, Apriva Guard also disables the native Android Lock Screen to avoid conflicts and improve user experience.
